Recommend a film/book/play/show you have seen/read recently. Give a link to it. Even if you have seen something and you have not too good opinion of it, present it here please:)
I would like to recommend Seven Pounds. My grilfriend brought it some time ago, and last week we decied to watch it. I am not film lover, but Seven Pounds is a real masterpiece. Surprising and touching. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seven_Pounds If you're considering to watch it, DO NOT read the plot section. ;) It makes difference.
I want to recommend a very informative BBC documentary about marijuana plant - "Cannabis: The Evil Weed?". It covers such cases as plant history, some cannabinoid-oriented chemistry basics, effects and side effects, medical use and future of this plant. Movie is from this year. You can watch it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qscNnWhnkRM
I would highly recommend books of Carlos Ruiz Zafon - The Shadow of the Wind ( it is a love story, a ghost story, and a mystery from a place called the Cemetery of Forgotten Books) For sure this book will scare you, touch you and will keep you up nights — and it'll be time well spent. Absolutely marvelous !!! http://www.carlosruizzafon.co.uk
I'd like to recommend a tv show Big Bang Theory, a comedy about young physicist, i like it because it reminds me the greatest show It Crowd;) http://release24.pl/wpis/9706/%22The+Big+Bang+Theory%22+%5BS03E07%5D+HDTV.XviD-FQM
I'd like to recommend books by Dan Brown. Especially "Angels and Demons", the famous "The da Vinci Code" and released recently "The Lost Symbol". All of them mix facts with cryptography, keys, symbols, codes, and conspiracy theories. Definitely worth a look.
I recently started reading "The Da Vinci Code". It's definitely worth it ;).
I recently saw a Polish film from the early 90's, titled "Akwarium". It's based on Wiktor Suworow's autobiographical novel under the same title. The main theme of the movie revolves around Soviet espionage methods. Very interesting if you like that sort of thing ;)
I recommend film "The Class" - it's hard to describe this film but it describe in very realistic way what happened with young people at school and morality they represent. I recommend also the book "The woman in Berlin" - history of women in Berlin after World War II.

I would like to recommend new Polish film "Rewers". It's full of black humour comedy with many turnovers. Great actors in great roles.
