Violence Against Woman .- Few days ago, we celebrated the International Day of Action Against Gender Violence, violence against women, gender violence, male violence ... all terms that define aggression women by men thugs and torturers who think they have the right to refer their partner to a continuous abuse to end their lives.
Given these facts I can only bow in pain from all those mothers who lose their children due to violence by domestic partners therefore to all those children who can never fully possess their lives because they always bear the burden and impairment of have seen their mothers suffer until death and witnessed in many instances these abuses, to all those families who in one way or another are orphaned, deprived of life who is going to the hands of these domestic terrorists.
Violence against women, is a long-term problem, some suffer abuse sometimes others are victims of humiliation. Always bear physical violence, because they decide to report, and others endure verbal aggression, because fear does not let them talk.So they lose their self-esteem, his strength and power of reasoning, continue with the abuser, believe that over time will change. Many are isolated from family, fear threats, other retaliation, this is how they achieve the obedience with shock or anger control. Fear paralyze you, if you're one of those victims, I advise you seek help quickly, with relatives or friends. Also if you know of a woman, suffering some form of aggression, urgent complaint to the abuser, and it provides support and protection. To this day serves to remind, all women who suffered, who died in the hands of violent, not to repeat again
Gender violence is perhaps the most shameful human rights violation. As long as we can not say that we are making real progress towards equality, development and peace. "
Through this idea proclaims the basic principles for combating this phenomenon. As the first point, its clear that the whole society to assume that gender violence is everyone's problem, not just victims of abuse.
Conclusions :
The whole society has to assume that gender violence is everyone's problem, not only victims of abuse.
Only if we improve the information from victims in terms of rights available and the tools that the society can progress in gender violence.
It´s capital the coordination between administrations to avoid mistakes in this matter. We must improve the implementation of coordination protocols.
The improved training of workers who perform their function in the various government assumed responsibility in gender violence prevents mistakes and errors in applying the rules.
No. It was necessary to draft and adopt a comprehensive Law of the victim in the criminal process that includes all of the victims, obviously including those of gender, should enjoy a special status and own other than they now have as one more witness criminal proceedings.
If many victims refuse to testify against their abusers after having denounced and still others refuse to sue is because we have not yet been able to transfer the security that must have to take that step. If the victim is unsure revoke or declare against her attacker. The security company must transmit to the victim, but not just with words or laws, but with deeds for these to know that behind his apparent loneliness society supports him.
A victim of the aggressor is economically dependent on it extremely difficult to take the step of the complaint. It should work to achieve full integration of women victims to make them self-reliant and not dependent on the abuser.
The first assistance to the victim when he comes for the first time to testify about your case is critical for her. Therefore, attention in police, hospital and the judiciary is essential to transfer you to feel supported and protected. You can not fail in the first attention and we must make him see that we understand your problem and treating him properly.
Gender violence is a crime very different from others in the Criminal Code, and all the legislative that surrounds this type of violence should be chaired by specialty to be treated this crime. The victims of gender violence are separate victims of other crimes and this is an indisputable reality.
We can not allow that many victims of violence against women continue to die for taking the decision to regain the freedom they lost when the relationship began with whom he mistreated them. It should be stressed that leave is the only solution, not the best, but this has to be accompanied by social and labor support without which the letter of intent is only that and the realities of the victims are different from those draw on paper that later became law.

Women are more vulnerable to (physical) violence because they usually aren't able to strike back.
ReplyDeleteIn my opinion violence is caused by personal failures combined with frustration and the "best" targets are family members or potencially weak people. Domination boosts ego.
I think everyone has felt frustration and I found that the best solution are computer games, especially shooters.
Violence against woman is totally forbiden!! There are many other kinds of punnishment for their little sins:) Nowdays the roles are switching. Last year resarches in finland are showing us great increasa of violence against man. Maybe man are in troule?? In conclusion there are some cases when physicaly violence is necessary:)
ReplyDeleteDaniel , what you mean " there are some cases when physicaly violence is necessary " ? Can you explain me this ?
ReplyDeleteViolence against other human being is and should be punishable. Also against animals and any other living organism.
ReplyDeleteMental violence is much worse than physical. First of all, because it's influence on other person is greater and lasts longer.
Secondly, it's rather hidden at the beginning so you may not know that someone is manipulating you.
There are and there should still be campaigns which inform about this matter and help resolve it.
"Daniel, what you mean (...)"
ReplyDeleteI would also read the explanation, because I don't get this statement.
I agree with Kamil that all kinds of violence (especially adult - child) should be punishable and forbidden. It makes me sick, when I see a parent beating his/her child for nothing.
I think very importand is subject about emotional violence . It is often the most difficult case to pinpoint or identify.
ReplyDeleteEmotional violence includes the refusal to listen to, or denial of, another person's feelings, telling people what they do or do not feel and ridiculing or shaming of their feelings. It is also doing or saying thinks to make you feel uncomfortable, using manipulation, threatening you and putting you down.
Emotional violence can also make people feel powerless, fearful or angry about the violence.
Any type of violence is awful. In my opinion it is reaction for their failures. In 99% cases it is loser, sometime he is also weak physically and he what to dominate. It is very easy to hit weaker person(wife, kids). It make me sick when I thinking about that kind of people. They should be punished.
ReplyDeletewhy don't you wrote anything about violence against men? Besides it's sometimes a matter of different culture
ReplyDeleteI agree with Marek. Violence is a tool for weak people who can’t solve their problems in other way.
ReplyDeleteWhat is violence against women?
ReplyDeleteThere is no such thing in our culture. Violence is just violence. We are not a Muslim country. If you know any example of violence in our culture that can't concern men please give such.
What are the most common forms of violence against women?
Death for infidelity?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zM2nsFxdMCo&feature=related
But in west culture not only women can be punished for infidelity.
Is violence not just a simple loss of self-control?
It's just a physical or verbal force against others.
Are some women more vulnerable to violence than others?
I think that smart women is less vulnerable to violence.
What are the consequences of violence against women?
Criminal liability?
I agree with most of the guys before me and partly with Marta :) But OK, questions:
ReplyDelete>What is violence against women?
When someone is violent (in any way) against a woman? I disagree with Rafał here on one point, when a man wants to beat his wife then he will do it. Sad but true. Never mind the culture.
>Is violence not just a simple loss of self-control?
Not always, but usually, yes, one may say so.
>Are some women more vulnerable to violence than others?
Of course, we are all different people with different traits of character and weaknesses.
>What are the consequences of violence against women?
Another no-brainer. Going to jail? Or perhaps you mean the shattered self-esteem and health loss for the woman? Depends on what are you asking :)
Anyway, why just violence against women? What about violence of women against men? This also occurs, after all, although not as popular as with the post's topic. I see a similar problem with women pedophiles, it's also an issue that's not really discussed much.
It is difficult problem, especially when women are not independent financially from their oppressors. This is a place where administration should take action. Generally government does to little to stimulate people to gain knowledge and experience. BTW. Have you seen photos of women – victims of popular in Iran and other muslim countries, acid attacks ? shocking.
ReplyDeleteAnd why not violence at school - I've watched estonian film "The Class" - there so much violence, these kids was so brutal and the worst thing is that those situations happen at many polish school - we don't need to look at other countries - we have this problem in Poland.
ReplyDeleteI think that the worst form of violence is not physical but psychical - and physical violence is the week people's weapon who don't know how to solve their problems so they use their hand. Psychical violence is much worse because is used by very intelligent people who know how to destroy you in way that knowone can see...
