What we think about that

The order is very important so please comment this before next post :-). The main target of this post is to get our opinion about HIV.

Let's see what black Americans think about this.

How do you get it?

Blacks and the virus

A cure

Prison

Down low brothers

More black women infected
I have no idea that is this statement true or not.

Questions:
Would you work with HIV positive?
What do you think about HIV positive people?
Would you date with someone HIV +?
What is the best way to prevent HIV?

  1. I have never met person with HIV positive. If my beloved person have HIV positive I will not left him and we both will live with this. If we are talking about new relationship I will probably not decided begin something with a person with HIV.

  2. I haven't met anyone with HIV either. But my husband had a friend who died of AIDS. Just a normal guy. He changed when HIV caused AIDS and he started dying, but he changed only physically. Except that he was very thin and pale, he still was a normal person (if someone dying can be "normal").
I wouldn't have a problem with working with someone HIV positive. If my husband have HIV we will live with it, like Marta said. Also like Marta I probably wouldn't start a relationship with someone with HIV, but I would take it for consideration. It's not because I would be scared, but because there is a high probability that he will die soon...

Best way to prevent HIV? Using condome and not taking drugs with used needle (or simply not taking any drugs ;) ).

  3. Personally I tink that people HIV positive should be separeted. There should be special hospices where sick people could spend rest of their life. It will cause HIV to be self eliminated. Many people die especially in Africa but the new world order needs it to succed.

  4. Sorry Daniel, but being HIV positive doesn't mean that you are dying. You still can live normally. You start dying when you have AIDS.

  5. And it takes an average of nine years for AIDS to develop after initial infection.

Here you have an example of AIDS survivor who is not pale and thin (not yet). I suppose that he would not agree with you Daniel ;)

  6. Working with HIV+ is ok for me, but close relationship is not. Separating HIV+ people in hospitals is like creating ghettos - it's next problem, not the solution.
Best (and only?) solution to prevent HIV is elimination of any possibility that infected blood can be injected into our body, this includes condoms and clean needles (not only for drugs).

  7. Working with HIV+ is fine with me too. Any new relationships - nope.

The man is the weakest link so we need to be careful each time we are near blood, needles, sharp tools. After all it for our own safety.

Best way to prevent HIV is to close to the outside world and/or look out at every step you make but that makes your life sick. It's impossible to exist in the environment by yourself so we interact.

  8. >Would you work with HIV positive?
Yes, I don't see the problem, however I would like to be informed.
    >Would you date with someone HIV +?
    No way.

  9. The best way to prevent HIV is to stay at home and never let anyone in. Seriously, I think that people should know more about the virus and be more careful in special situations when there is a possibility of getting infected.

  10. I never met HIV+ person so it is very difficult to say what would be my reaction on it. I think working is ok but new close relationship wouldn't be good. But as I said it is hard to say with out any experience with it.

  12. It's like question What would you do if you realize (after let's say 2 years) your friend is a transvestite, so if it's man he was cool chick but what if ?:P

  13. I also haven't met anybody HIV positive, but if I will have such a situation then I don't see why I should treat them differently. Besides, there's a chance that I won't even know if that person's sick or not till late in the relationship. It's not like it's visible at first glance in everybody or that HIV+ people welcome you by saying "Hey, I've got AIDS!". So there, let's keep things rational :)

Yes, I see no reason to refuse to work with such person.
What do you think about HIV positive people?
I think there are diffrent areas on which you should judge people.

Would you date with someone HIV +?

  15. Would you work with HIV positive?
I have never met people with HIV+ so it is hard to say, it depends what kind of work I do.

Would you date with someone HIV +?
Probably I would, pperson with HIV+ is still human.

What is the best way to prevent HIV?
The easiest way to prevent HIV infection is to have no contact with an infected person, but it isn't a good solution. The best way in my opinion is to test for being HIV positive.
